I've been away from working out for a while and have also had some medical issues that require some extra work to recover from, so I chose to work with Josh. I have been very impressed with Josh's physiology knowledge.  He also jumped right onto the internet to research some of my side effects to help me understand what I was experiencing. 

Anyone [can work with Josh].  He seems very capable of jumping between styles of coaching, diving deep into the science and being the tough taskmaster when needed!

Helping my kids build balanced muscles is the reason why I signed them up for the Teen class. Both my kiddos have been able to build a solid foundation of moment and learned the importance of correct form. Everyone, young and old alike can learn so much from correct movement and loading the body.

Coach Josh has a great mix of having fun with the kids, teaching and keeping them focused. I haven’t seen anything that I would say needs “improvement”. I have been thoroughly satisfied with the quality of training and coaching my kids have received!

I was looking to be in better shape overall and be more prepared for backcountry hunting. Coach Josh has helped me better understand how to properly train in the gym, train for cardio endurance and also provided me with info on better nutrition to meet my fitness goals. I would recommend him to individuals looking to get into better shape, have little experience in the gym/how to use gym equipment and is looking for guidance on the right way to train.

I chose to work with Josh because I wanted a change and didn’t have the knowledge to have the most effective attack. Even though I only do remote training, Josh has never not answered a text within a respectable amount of time. He’s always answering my questions never made me feel less for not knowing something and even if he didn’t know something, he would look it up do the research for it and give me the most effective answer or way to mitigate it. Think I wouldn't have stuck to the gym if it wasn’t for Josh and how he takes a time to help me and understand my concerns.

If a weight, machine or move isn’t quite right for you, he adapts to something that will work for you. Josh offered 1:2 strength training and nutritional coaching for my wife and I. Josh put a plan together to work toward our functional outdoorsman fitness goals and modified it to account for and improve my frequent limited range of motion and flexibility.
